- Biography:
- Piers Marchant began as a film critic at the Philadelphia Weekly shortly after receiving his MFA, in 1995. He has since published work with Philly Mag, Vox, A/V Club, and NBC. Currently, he is a regular film contributor to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He has published several books, including one about becoming the Pope (which he was not), and another about the horror of human history.
