- Ema Sasic is a film critic and podcaster with Next Best Picture, a website dedicated to new film releases and their awards potential. With Next Best Picture, she has attended film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Venice, Sundance, and AFI, as well as interviewed talent from all sectors of filmmaking. She is also a features reporter with The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, and she runs her own podcast show, Weekly Pop, with co-host Kevin Schwaller. Ema was born in Germany, grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and now resides in sunny Palm Springs, California. When she's not gazing at a movie theater screen or sharing her ramblings online, she enjoys baking/cooking, spending time outdoors, traveling, and making her loved ones laugh.
