- Fabian W. Waintal is an Argentine journalist based in Hollywood, California. He has interviewed actors including Harrison Ford, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz. Waintal covered the Academy Awards for more than 30 consecutive years and has been an executive producer for the international Oscars TV transmission twice. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he started writing as a journalist there when he was 16 years old. By the age of 18, he had his own entertainment column for the Argentine magazine Gente. In 1990, Waintal moved from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles, California, to become the L.A. correspondent for Gente and Editorial Atlantida.
