- Born and raised in San Diego, Jana Monji graduated from UCLA (MA in East Asian Language and Cultures) and from University of Southern California (MA in Print Journalism). She's written theater and movie criticism in the Los Angeles area for over two decades. The last decade, she's been living a Best in Show experience with her collies. She's deep into demographics and diversity beyond a Black and White narrative.
