Since 2013, she has been the chief critic for several outlets, including The Tidewater News, The Farmville Herald, The Windsor Weekly, The Charlotte Gazette, and her own website Fangirl Freakout. Lauren sees over 150 films yearly and regularly attends the Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Middleburg Film Festival.
