- Born in Hindelang Germany, and r aised in Munich, attended University in Landshut to study pedagogy, then studied at LMU Munich international politics, international economy, and philosophy. Worked at age 14 for a local paper about political movements, worked in the radio station Xanadu, then at TV network Tele 5. For 3 years I did radio and TV. Then stayed with TV. Always as a freelance journalist. Started out in news and changed to features, (books, theater, music, film) in the late in the early 80s, I traveled for 20 months through North, Central, and South America, and west Africa.
