- Bio: Born and raised in Long Island New York, Matt Neglia received a Communication Arts degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) with a concentration in cinema studies. Wanting to share his knowledge and love of film with the rest of the world, he created his own website in 2016 titled NextBestPicture.com. The website’s goal is to not only provide reviews for visitors both in written and podcast format, but to also analyze a film’s awards potential and discover if it will be the next Best Picture Oscar winner. A writer, podcast producer, host, editor and reviewer, Matt is always seeking out diverse storytelling of high quality that strengthens his passion of the cinematic medium and will hopefully inspire others to keep searching for that next great film coming to their local cinema.
