- Paul McGuire Grimes is a Minneapolis-based film critic and actor. His work as a film critic began in May 2010 when he started a movie review blog titled "Paul's Trip to the Movies". Now a full website, Paul continues to provide numerous updates each week with reviews of the latest releases, rediscovered classics, upcoming movie trailers, and a special page devoted to the Criterion Collection, “a continuing series of important classic and contemporary films.” In March 2014, Paul became the film critic for KSTP TV's "Twin Cities Live", a local talk show focusing on food, fashion, and fun. He appears every Friday, typically reviewing the latest theatrical releases and selections for home viewers. You can also hear him every Friday on the radio on My Talk 107.1 on "The Colleen & Bradley Show". Paul continues to be inspired by the talents of actors and directors like Jimmy Stewart, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Daniel Day-Lewis, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet, Judi Dench, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock, and, of course, the reviewers he has respected since childhood: Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel.
