- Jorge T., writing as J. Don Birnam, is a film critic based out of New York City. Jorge was born and raised in Mexico and has been a film critic in New York for over ten years, where he became a founding member of the Latino Entertainment Journalists Association. Jorge writes for a variety of outlets, with a particular focus on issues of interest to the Latino community (LatinaMediaCo), festivals and awards (AwardsWatch, Next Best Picture), classic films, and films of interest to the LGBTQ+ community.
