- Marriska Fernandes is a Toronto-based entertainment journalist, reporter, and film critic since 2013. She's the host of Telefilm's Maple Popcorn podcast and regularly contributes to Toronto Star, National Post, SHARP magazine, CBC, Exclaim!, and Zoomer Magazine. In addition to being a member of the Critics Choice Association, she is a Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer-approved critic and a member of the Toronto Film Critics Association and the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television. Marriska regularly covers movie junkets and set visits, and reviews the latest movies that release theatrically and on streaming platforms.
