- Maggie Ma is a film journalist and critic based in LA with 15 years of experience. She has worked for outlets both domestically and internationally. Currently, she is the entertainment reporter and critic for https://www.usnewsexpress.com/ in the US and https://www.ifeng.com/ in China. Other outlets she worked for include World Journal, Movie View Magazine, Sohu.com, Southern Metropolis Daily, and Mtime. She was born in Beijing and graduated from USC with a Master's in Global Communication, fluent in Mandarin and English. She has covered Oscars, Golden Globes Awards and SAG Awards since 2007 till now. She has been on the MPAA press directory since 2010. She is a big fan of SDCC, D23, comic conventions, and theme parks. He loves sci-fi movies, animations, and Marvel movies but also enjoys documentaries and films inspired by actual events.
