- After serving as TV Critic for The Hartford Courant from 2002-2011, Roger Catlin has been a freelance writer in Washington D.C., where he writes for AARP The magazine, is a contributing writer at Smithsonian Magazine, and has had dozens of stories published in The Washington Post, as well as bylines at TV Guide Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, TV Worth Watching, and The Vinyl District. A longtime member and past board member of the TV Critics Association, he also writes about rock 'n' roll and the visual arts. He blogs about TV daily at www.rogercatlin.com.
