- Sarah Marrs is a Chicago-based film critic and writer for LaineyGossip.com, where she has written about film and pop culture for ten years. Sarah studied writing and art at the University of Southern California, dabbled in stand-up comedy, and then started the film and humor blog Cinesnark.com. Today, she is the senior film critic for LaineyGossip, and has had bylines on Pajiba, SYFY Fangrrls, and Decider. Sarah assists with the programming of the Chicago Critics Film Festival, and is also a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association.
