- Born and raised in Japan, Yuki Saruwatari started her career as an editor of a monthly women’s magazine where she was in charge of the film section. Since moving to L.A. in 1993, she has been covering Hollywood films, movie awards and film festivals as a freelance journalist. Her interview pieces frequently appear in such magazines as Harper’s Bazaar Japan, Weekly Bunshun and GQ Japan. She writes several new film reviews a month for Cinema Today, one of the most popular movie websites in Japan.
