- Biography:
- Patrick came into movies as an escape from a sheltered background. As a native of northern Utah hailing from a strictly religious community environment, movies and entertainment were seen as tempting taboos to avoid for several reasons. Nonetheless, he was obsessed with them as a vessel of creativity and free thinking. Now as an adult, he relishes the opportunity to turn that lifelong devotion into a prolific career. For the last several years, Patrick has proudly applied his dedication as a film critic to ABC4 television in Salt Lake City, the #27 market in the country covering four bordering states and reaching over 900,000 households. At the station, he spearheaded the first post-pandemic review segment on Utah’s #1 lifestyle show, which has since evolved into his flagship segment created and run by him. With each person he reaches through this outlet– be it on a large screen at home or a small screen in their pocket– Patrick has the pleasure of sharing his passionate insight for film.
