- Biography:
- Tim Estiloz is a 2X Emmy award winning broadcast journalist, film critic and performer with over a decade of covering entertainment news, hard news, program hosting, anchoring and much more. Tim is currently the film critic / entertainment correspondent for 'The Spiel", a weekly lifestyle / entertainment TV program produced by Growing Media. He also writes film reviews for the Kaleidoscope Reviews film website and El Mundo Boston, Boston's premiere Spanish-language news publication. Tim has been a fan of Hollywood films since early childhood when at the age of 10, when he would be allowed to stay up late on Saturday nights watching a midnight double-feature of classic horror and monster films on "Chiller Theater" in his home town of Pittsburgh, PA. As an entertainment journalist, Tim's on-air reporting and hosting experience includes stints with NBC daytime programming, HGTV, E! Entertainment Television, Comcast Cable programming, CN8 The Comcast Network, PBS, and various Boston TV news operations. Tim was also the first and only TV reporter to ever obtain a face to face, in-depth interview with the one and only, reclusive pin-up legend, Bettie Page... whose life was chronicled in the 2005 film, "The Notorious Bettie Page". Tim also spent a portion of his early years as a competitive figure skater, before turning professional and performing on tour around the continental USA, Hawaii and Canada. He's also an accomplished artist, cartoonist and illustrator with an Associate Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. A proud native of Pennsylvania, Tim claims both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia as his home towns, having spent much of his growing years in both cities. Tim's love for creative writing and broadcasting led to his B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
